At this time, the 2021 Fall Season plan for League Play is to no longer require masks, and league play will go back to two teams on a pair of lanes. Pre- and Post- bowling are available per individual league rules AND depending upon Iris Bowling Center lane availability. Bowlers are encouraged to use COVID-19 best practices to include staying home from league if they experience symptoms, test positive for COVID, or have been exposed to others with the COVID-19 virus. USBC Rule 18 - Bowling Ball - Altering Surface states that any bowling ball cannot be cleaned, have its surface altered, or have on it any foreign material (powder, rosin, marker, etc.) once the first bowler throws the first ball of that competition event. However, in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic, the USBC will allow rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) during competition for this season.
